Our story

We founded Haus Health Rheumatology to provide clarity and a path forward to adults, children, and families living with autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases.

We grew up in Venezuela and Florida and moved to Boston for medical training and to start our careers. Along the way, we saw how difficult it can be for patients to access expert rheumatology care—especially for complex or rare conditions that are often managed only at major medical centers.

To make that level of care more accessible, we helped deliver thousands of virtual second-opinion consults across the country. But we realized something was missing: the patient’s voice, the personal connection of an exam, and the intelligent use of technology to synthesize complex information.

We created Haus Health Rheumatology to go Beyond a Second Opinion™️. Our practice blends academic-level expertise, lifestyle medicine integration, and the latest AI tools to deliver a personalized experience unrivaled by any other service.

Dr. Jonathan S. Hausmann

Dr. Jonathan S. Hausmann is a Harvard-trained rheumatologist, quadruple-board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Adult Rheumatology, and Pediatric Rheumatology.

He earned his undergraduate degree magna cum laude with distinction from Amherst College and graduated at the top of his class from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He then completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital, followed by dual Pediatric and Adult Rheumatology fellowships at Boston Children’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Dr. Hausmann currently practices rheumatology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital, and serves as Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School. He directs the Autoinflammatory Disease Program at MGH and co-directs the Autoinflammatory Disease Clinic at Boston Children’s Hospital. His research and clinical leadership have contributed to national and international guidelines for treating autoinflammatory diseases.

He is also the host of the ACR on Air Podcast for the American College of Rheumatology, where he helps translate cutting-edge science into accessible insights for clinicians and patients alike.

Over the past decade, Dr. Hausmann has provided thousands of virtual second-opinion consults to patients worldwide. He founded Haus Health Rheumatology to bring that expertise closer to home—offering Beyond a Second Opinion™ consults that combine academic-level precision, AI-enhanced record review, and compassionate, concierge-style care.

Dr. Adriana Cohen-Hausmann

Dr. Adriana Cohen-Hausmann is board-certified by both the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) and the American Board of Pediatrics.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University and received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed her Pediatrics residency at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children, where she later joined the faculty as an Instructor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.

After nearly a decade in primary care, Dr. Cohen-Hausmann recognized how profoundly lifestyle factors—nutrition, movement, stress, and sleep—shape long-term health. To deepen her expertise, she became certified in Lifestyle Medicine through the ACLM and trained in evidence-based behavior change with mindfulness expert Dr. Jud Brewer.

Today, she helps patients build sustainable habits for wellness, longevity, and resilience, combining clinical insight with practical strategies for everyday life.

Dr. Cohen-Hausmann has also provided over a thousand virtual “curbside consults” for primary care physicians, bringing accessible, evidence-based guidance to complex patient cases.

Outside of medicine, she is an avid U.S. Masters swimmer who trains daily—a reflection of her belief that consistent, balanced habits form the foundation of lifelong health.
