Does this sound familiar?
You want healthier routines. Making them work for your family is the difficult part.
Meals feel complicated
Food preferences, busy schedules, and conflicting advice make it hard to decide what to serve and where to start.
Bedtime and mornings feel rushed
You want a routine that takes your child's needs and your household's schedule into account.
Screens and activity are hard to balance
You are looking for realistic ways to make room for movement, rest, and time together.
You have tried changes that did not last
You want help choosing a manageable starting point, rather than changing everything at once.
If constipation or toilet learning is the main concern, explore our Pediatric Digestive Health consultation.
A medical perspective. A plan for everyday life.
Lifestyle medicine uses evidence-based approaches to everyday habits as part of health care. For families, the starting point is understanding the patient's needs and the routines around them.
Understand the whole picture
Review the identified patient's health history, goals, and daily routines, including what your family has already tried.
Choose what matters most
Work with Dr. Cohen-Hausmann to prioritize achievable changes that fit the patient's age, health, preferences, and your family's resources.
Leave with clear next steps
Receive a written Lifestyle Action Plan with practical recommendations. Follow-up visits are available to review progress and adjust the plan.
The aim is a workable starting point, not a perfect household. Recommendations complement your existing medical care.

Questions families often ask
-
You may want help with everyday routines or lifestyle guidance alongside an existing condition. Recommendations depend on the identified patient's needs and whether this service is appropriate.
-
Not necessarily. Participation depends on the patient's age, goals, and the purpose of the visit. One consultation does not include separate medical care for every attendee.
-
The focus is on sustainable routines and health, not a restrictive diet or a target body size. Growth, nutrition, or weight concerns may require additional medical care.
-
No. This service complements existing care. It does not replace primary care, urgent care, feeding therapy, or mental health treatment.
-
The patient must be in Massachusetts, Florida, or Colorado at the time of the visit. Care is available in English and Spanish.
-
Yes. Follow-up appointments are available to review progress and update the plan. You do not need to commit to a longer program to start.
